Helsinki, the capital of Finland, is a modern city with over half a million residents which is situated on the Baltic Sea. Together with the neighbouring cities of Espoo, Kauniainen and Vantaa, this Finnish city forms the Helsinki metropolitan area with more than a million inhabitants.

Due to the quality and conditions of life standards, Helsinki is considered to be one of the most attractive destinations in Europe. This is also one of the fasted growing metropolitan areas in the European Union. With plenty of business events taking place in Helsinki every year, Finland's capital can be considered one of Europe's major business centers.
